Welcome to the official website of Alister Scott who was born during a very stormy autumn night in the south of England
He is an illustrator, cartoonist and writer based in England’s Craft Town – Farnham in Surrey.
He never went to to art school but has managed to keep hold of his childhood ability to draw and paint and along with some help from many inspirational people he has developed his unique style of illustration. Ali mostly specialises in illustrating the natural World and his upcoming book ‘The Looker’ focuses on how nature can be a healer to us and we need to be healers to it.
He has written a childrens’ book called ‘Clyde and Isaac go to the Vet’ (based on his two giant house rabbits, one of which, Clyde, has sadly passed away) that is available for people to pick up from Farnham library or to download here.
His work has been displayed in various places including the Farnham Maltings, Creative Response Arts, RHS Wisley Gardens and private displays.
Ali is disabled and his illustration and writing helps him to relax and be happy. He hopes that when you look at it you will feel happy and relaxed too.
The Looker - This title will be released soon.
